BossMedia Blackjack Casinos

Free Blackjack at Rushmore CasinoBoss Media is a one of the largest and oldest software providers for the gaming and entertainment industry. They are based in Vaxjo, Sweden, and are publicly traded on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.

Boss Media was founded in 1996 and was originally only suppose to run Gold Club Casino. Soon after the online launch of Gold Club, Boss Media began to receive requests from investors and other companies that were interested in purchasing Boss Media’s software. The company then made the switch from running a casino to developing and providing software to a growing list of clients.

Boss Media Blackjack Software

Boss Media’s blackjack software is realistic in its design and graphics, making the player feel as if they are playing in a live casino. Both single player tables and multi-player tables are available. When a player opens up an account with a Boss Media-powered casino, they will receive a PIN in the postal mail. This is required for all withdrawals over $500.

Boss Media Multiplayer Blackjack

In Boss Media’s multi-player version of blackjack, the game uses either one deck or six decks of 52 cards each. After the player’s cards are dealt and the dealer receives their cards, one face up and one face down, the player can choose any of the regular blackjack options such as to hit or stand.

A dealer will always stand on a soft 17. The player is allowed to double on any of their first two cards and they may even double after a split. However, a player may not resplit their hand.

There is no drawing to split aces. If the dealer has an ace or a ten card face up, they will always peek for blackjack. A player may take insurance if they think the dealer has blackjack and the payout is the standard 2 to 1. If a player gets a blackjack, the payout is 3 to 2.

In Boss Media’s Blackjack game, after a player has been dealt their two initial cards, there is a time limit for the player to make a decision. If the player is not satisfied with their hand and fails to make a decision, the dealer will assume that the player wishes to stand, regardless of the point-value of their hand.

Online Single Deck Blackjack

Boss Media offers a single player version of blackjack that uses a single deck in their version 1 software. The deck has the standard 52 cards. Just like in the multi-player version, the dealer always stands on a soft 17.

Players may double on any of their first two cards. They may double after a split but may not resplit. The biggest difference in the single player and the multi-player is that in the single player version, there is one card to split aces.

This game also uses the European hole card rule with a dealer’s ace card showing and the player declines insurance. This rule is not used in Boss Media’s version 3 software. The player edge in a single deck game is .10%.

Boss Media’s blackjack is very user friendly. A player can chat with other players at the multi-player tables. There is an easy to access record that keeps track of every player’s bet for the last thirty days. There is also a transaction record for every deposit, bonus, and withdrawl the player has ever made in a Boss Media-powered casino. There is a cash back rate of .1% for six deck blackjack.
